Women, how do you clean down there without causing a UTI?

I used to clean TOO well down there to the point where I kept getting UTI’s (urinary tract infections) because I was getting rid of mybody’s natural lubrication without realizing this was a bad thing. While in the shower I used to pull it open down there and allow water to flow over it. It sure as hell felt a lot cleaner, but gave me infections so I stopped.

So what can I do to keep it clean without causing an infection? I know the vagina cleans itself, but it doesn’t smell as good when I let my body clean itself. I’m tempted to use the water again, but I fear another infection.

How can you get rid of a urinary tract infection (UTI)?

I’m in a lot of pain, feel like I have to pee every minute but only ends up painful with a couple drops including blood coming out and some pink fleshy material. The clinic is closed today, don’t have insurance, not sure what I can do. I’ve been eating a lot of water and yogurt but not helping and in the past when I have cranberry juice all the sugar in it makes it worse.

Endometriosis and urinary urgency?

Hi everyone, I’ve been dealing with some extreme health issues for 8 months and am desperately seeking solutions to my discomfort. Hopefully someone can help. It all started out with the feeling that I couldn’t hold my urine. I’ve never had an accident (besides from laughing, coughing and sneezing- which I’ve done for years).. But around January it became a terrible discomfort. I felt as though I always had to be conscious of my bladder muscles.. I felt as if I relaxed, I would lose my control. Then the pain began. I started feeling really uncomfortable pelvic pain. Sharp shooting pains, bloating, gas, constipation, diahrea.. you name it, if it’s below the belly button- I’ve had troubles with it all year. I’ve had urine cultures done, a colonoscopy, a cystoscopy with a urologist.. even a sleep study. I also go to the chiropractor 3 times a week. Before all of this, I have never had any health issues, so this has become quite frustrating. All of my blood tests and urine cultures have come back normal. My cystoscopy showed nothing abnormal such as interstitial cystitus, cancer or small bladder capacity. The colonoscopy was normal as well. My gynocolegist and my gastro interologist both suspect endometriosis. Keep in mind, I’ve had a pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound as well, which both showed nothing abnormal besides a retroverted uterus. The pelvic pain and urinary discomfort is still a daily battle. I am always conscious of how I’m sitting, how I’m moving.. everything. It is taking away my livelihood and I’m at my wit’s end. If anyone can share a personal story or a suggestion, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Urinary tract infection? Yeast infection?

My urine is murky, foamy, and has a very foul smell. It burns to urinate. I also have a burning, itchy, kind of feeling in my vagina. I’m treating it as a yeast infection with Monistat 7. This has been happening for a little less than a week. My itching and burning is getting better with my monistat treatment. My urine is not. What could this be the cause of?

How I get rid of a urinary tract infection?

Well I have a UTI and it is making my urine smell really foul. I really hate the strong odor coming out of it and I hate the burning sensation when I have to urinate. Can anyone help me? I just want it all to go away but if you have any tips on getting rid of the bad smell, than please tell. I’ve also been drinking cranberry juice which doesn’t help.

Sudden belly fat gain without gaining any weight?

So three weeks ago, after I got my period, I went to the doctor because I had gotten a Urinary Tract Infection so she gave me Macrobid (antibiotic) to cure it. Now while I was on treatment I didnt feel any side affects. Every since last week i’ve been gaining belly fat out of nowhere. Lately i’ve been with nausea and a low appetite. Haven’t been eating much at all. I don’t think i’m bloated because it doesn’t feel like it usually does when I am. It’s squishy fat that I can grab and move up and down. I’m normally a very skinny person. I’m extremely short and I only weigh 87lbs. I loooovee to eat and keep it in my stomach so don’t come up with anorexia or bulimia. I don’t understand how I can gain fat without eating that much. Yes I am sexually active but I highly doubt i’m pregnant.
uhhh i don’t do ab workouts….i dont workout at all. i’m skinny as it is.

My cat pees everywhere, how do I make her stop?!?

Ok so I have a female cat, 2 yrs. old, and she pees everywhere! I don’t know why! (BTW I’m 13) we just had to spend 7,000 dollars replacing peed on items! So, it turned out just the other night she peed on my dads pants, so we shut her in the bathroom. I don’t think she pees because the litter box isn’t clean because I try to clean it every day. So, after being in the bathroom the whole day, I let her come into my room for about an hour which was around 9:00pm. Now I come to find she peed on a blanket in my room (it’s 11:20) when I had stepped out for no more than half an hour. SHE HAD ALL DAY IN THE BATHROOM TO PEE IN THE LITTER BOX!!! I’m literally in tears right now because my cat is an indoor cat and my mom threw her outside and just watched her through the window! My cat looked really sad and scared and I felt really bad for her. My mom told me to put her at least in the garage for the night, but now she has settled on letting her stay in the bathroom again. My mom says she is going to take her to the vet to see if anyone will take her tomorrow, and if noone does well keep her unless someone will take her. I’ve already had to get rid of my last cat because she peed! If I have to get rid of this one too, I’ll probably become depressed or something! Does anyone know why she is doing this or how to make her stop?! She doesn’t only pee in the same places either, if she can’t pee in the family room or living room (which we shut her off from) she will find somewhere else to pee ( which she has 2 days in a row now!) Somebody please help!!! :’( (P.S. She doesn’t have a urinary tract infection)

We’ve taken her to the vet before and they said she didn’t have a UTI also we’ve already changed litterboxes 3 times :/

Please Help Me! Does My dog have a Bladder Problem? Please Answer!?

Hi I’m Jessie and I have a black lab/dachshund mix and he is about 8 years old, maybe 8 and 1/2. I have been googling signs of Dog Bladder Infections, but he only related to one sign, which is having accidents once or twice a day in the house. He is potty trained and is such a great dog. If you say "woody go potty!" He will go outside and pee. He’s great! He whimpers at the door atleast once every thirty minutes to pee. He doesn’t always have to go, go, he just kinda squirts pee out if you know what I mean. Like not very much will come out. He doesn’t seem like he’s having trouble peeing, or is in pain. He pees normally… I think… He always goes pee in the bathroom downstairs in my house and he does that atleast once a day and sometimes twice. I live far from things so are there any home remedies I can do to get rid of the bladder infection, if he has one? Should I buy him diapers? Should I buy him special food that regulates his pee? What should I do? And if all you are going to say is, "Take him to a vet." Then I don’t want to hear it. I live far from a vet, but if it is VERY serious I will take him to one. I love him to death as well. Please tell me what is wrong and what I can do to stop him from peeing so much. I am very low on money at the moment so I can’t afford to take him to the vet, that’s why I need a home remedy medicine type thing to cure him or whatever. Thank you soooo much!

could this be a urinary track infection?

does this sound like a urinary track infection to you?

i have some of the symptoms like lower stomach pain , and lower back pain , can have been peeing a little bit more then usual .

but it doesn’t really burn to pee and i can hold my pee .

do you think it might be a uti?

i know your not a doctor just want to no what u think?

this has been happening to me non stop i have had anti biotic just a bout every month i have had urinary tract infections non stop my kidneys hurt i have tried everything and any thing i am in pain my doctor has tried doing everything and do you think i should just go to the hospital please help
i have taken sumyain and cranberry juice doesn’t work at all and i do keep it clean down there my paps come out normal this has happened since i was 12 it feels almost like giving birth when not pregnant
