I think I have a urinary track infection, cant afford the doctor, what should I do?

I’m pretty sure I have a urinary track infection, if not it’s definitely some kind of infection, because my urine is cloudy, my lower abs kinda of ache with this dull weird pain and there’s definitely pee in my urine….I know i should see someone about it, but would rather not because I don’t have money to do that, literally. Does anyone know if this will go away eventually…or get worse…or if there’s something I can do to lessen the symptoms or make it go away completely?

You need to see a doctor. Urinary tract infections do NOT go away on their own. Some OTC meds can help reduce symptoms, but will NOT cure the infection. Drinking water and cranberry juice may help prevent UTI, but will NOT cure the infection. The ONLY way to cure the infection is to take antibiotics exactly as prescribed by a doctor. If you have a UTI and do not take a full course of antibiotics exactly as prescribed, the infection will spread and cause kidney damage and other very serious problems, and may become life threatening. I understand your concern about money, but it will be a lot easier and a lot less expensive to treat now than it will be if you wait. If you wait, the infection will cause kidney damage and could become life threatening.

a urinary infection if untreated can lead to kidney damage.

if you really can’t go to the doctor…then you need some colloidal silver. drink it and you can use it to apply to the area. i highly recommend u go to the doctor since you already have the infection….
you can get the CS from campingsurvival.com

what you want to do next time is not have anal sex then go to vaginal sex….this is a main cause of urinary infection

First off, drink loads of water to flush out the infection. Don’t use fizzy drinks. Second - Ask a pharmacist for advice about self treatment - there are quite a few over-the-counter products available. To reduce the ’sting’ when passing urine, try putting a quarter of a teaspoon of Bicarb. in a glass of warm water two or three times. this will reduce the acidity of your urine temporarily.

However, you really do run the risk of this turning into a kidney infection, which can be extremely serious and I would urge you to get medical help if you can.

Here are some remedies you can try:

Drink lots and lots of water.
Take Cranberry Juice.–> Keeps of bacteria from your urinary tract.
Take Vitamin C. –> This makes your urine acidic.
Avoid stress - This will slow down healing.
    Avoid Sex

If the symptoms are severe, then you really need to go to a endrocrinologist. The specialist might give you antibiotics to kill the bacteria causing the infection.
